Boutique whisky company Wemyss Malts launch new 12yo

Boutique whisky company Wemyss Malts has launched a new 12yo blended malt Scotch whisky called ‘The Hive’, named after the honeyed sweetness found on the palate of this whisky. To mark the launch, the 12yo blended malt range has been repackaged into new gift tins, and the bottle labels have been redesigned.

New director for Wm Grant & Sons

Robert Polet, the former chief executive of Gucci has appointed as a non-executive director of Wm Grant & Sons Ltd. Peter Gordon, chairman of William Grant & Sons Ltd, said Mr Polet’s “track record” for developing and building brands like Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen will be valuable to the company.

Wm Mortons buys Inverarity Vaults
