Brother cider have launched a new TV commercial as part of a £5m annual marketing campaign.

Brothers MD Matthew Showering said, “This new commercial is a massive statement about our brand and our commitment to building sales wherever it is stocked. This is a key part of our biggest marketing spend to date and with the exploding fruit, festival scenes and powerful music it really tells our target audience what we are about”.

The commercial will run nationally from 11th July on terrestrial and digital channels and will reach nearly 90% of all 18-34 adults, with the strapline, “Welcome to the Family”.

Online viewers will be able to get a sneak preview of the advert as it launches online from 4th July on the Brothers website, facebook and You Tube channels with additional content including outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage.

Its soundtrack comes from Lily Allen’s new signing, CULTS, with ‘Go Outside’ which was released earlier this month. Lily, who has always been a great supporter of Brothers Cider, suggested the track through facebook. The track was then remixed by DJ combo ‘The 2 Bears’, Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) to give it a more upbeat twist to suit the party vibe.

The Brothers website has also undergone a transformation to bring it in line with the new creative which will go live next week. The new website features improved functionality of the cider finder, a new trade area where
stockists can request FREE POS, and a great new look.
