Heineken’s UK managing director, Stefan Orlowski, is heading to the US to become the New York-based president of the company’s Americas division.
Orlowski, who took on his current role in July 2009, currently splits his time between Edinburgh and London, and will make this move this in the summer. Heineken expect to reveal his successor in the next few weeks, but there is speculation that it could be an outside appointment.
The news came amongst a raft of other Heineken organisational changes which included chief commercial officer Alexis Nasard being made president western Europe and chief marketing officer, while Jan Derck van Karnebeek added chief sales officer to his role of president central and eastern Europe.
