The judges said of the winner, “This category was not only passionate, they were also the most innovative when it came to staff training. It is very much a team effort when it comes to wines here, from selecting and tasting, to working with the chefs to create a food menu that compliments the wine. Staff are encouraged to come up with innovative ideas for promoting wine and take part in team building training sessions that include staff incentives. The winner definitely had the stand out factor and a passion for wine in abundance.
