La Lanterna in Edinburgh has been bought by Dan Miller, one of the restauranteurs behind the North East restaurant group, Sambuca. The Hanover Street venue was formerly owned by Toni Zaino. Meanwhile Bar Roma in Edinburgh’s Queensferry Street is set to close on 31st August. Mario and Bebe Cugini, who opened the restaurant in 1981, are retiring, and have not found a buyer for the business. His daughter and husband have taken over Circle Cafe in Brandon Terrace.
