£1m investment for Williams Brothers

WILLIAMS Brothers will soon launch their first range of canned craft beers thanks to a new £1 million investment.

Extra warehouse space and additional conditioning tanks, along with new storage silos, have also been earmarked as paramount to expansion project.?

The company say the new facilities will enable them to meet a growing demand for products, with their own beers – and that of Fyne Ales, Harviestoun and Thistly Cross Cider, for whom they provide a bottling service – set to benefit from the new bottling machine.

The company also plans to launch a 500ml PET format in the next three months targeted at the grocery sector, as well as festivals.?

The expansion has helped to secure additional listings for its beers with Sainsbury’s, who will stock a further six of their beers, 11 in total.?

Williams Brothers recently announced their turnover had increased from £2.9 million to £4 million in the past two years.?
