THE Good Pub Guide has named Glasgow’s Bon Accord its Whisky Bar of the Year for 2014.
The guide is now entering its 28th year and is often seen as the “bible” for pub goers.
The Charing Cross staple was left carrying the flag for Scotland, being the only Scottish winner of the 15 national awards.
But there was some additional success for licensed venues north of the border, as Ross-shire’s Plockton Hotel was named Scotland’s Dining Pub of the Year for the third time.
