LICENSED operators in Scotland are being equipped with a specialist toolkit to best benefit Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
And they are being urged to play their part in the showcase event, set to bring in millions for the Scottish economy.
Put together by Glasgow 2014, VisitScotland and the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, the toolkit includes logos and online banners designed to help businesses show their support for the Games and welcome visitors to next year’s event.
Under the banner ‘2014: Our Games, Our Welcome’, the toolkit also features advice on wording for marketing materials and social media activity for tourism and hospitality businesses.?
And the toolkit was given some high profile support, launched as the 2014 Ryder Cup captains, Paul McGinley and Tom Watson unveiled a specially-commissioned flagstone at Gleneagles railway station last month.
