Blackwell Rum is the latest rum to hit the Scottish on-trade. Created by Island Record founder Chris Blackwell, the premium Jamaican spirit is distributed by Mangrove and currently available through specialist suppliers Hot Sauce and Lawrence Smith & Sons. Blackwell’s grandfather once owned the J Wray & Nephew distillery in Jamaica, and the rum is handcrafted by the distillery’s Master Blender Joy Spence.
