The Cramond Inn in Cramond is set to re-open at the end of the month after it shut unexpectedly a few weeks ago. The closure, DRAM understands, followed a disagreement between the buildings landlord and operator Samuel Smith’s, which saw the landlord surrender the licence.
However Edinburgh licensing board is expected to address the matter at its next meeting which should mean the pub can re-open. The B-listed Inn has long played a vital role in the local community and it is considered to be one of Edinburgh’s best local pubs.
