Molson Coors has announced that Coors Light will be this years Edinburgh Film Festival’s Official Beer Partner. Visitors to this years festival, which runs from 17th to 28th June, will be treated to a ‘Rocky Mountain Cold’ beverage at some of the most prestigious parties including the grand VIP opening gala at the National Museum of Scotland.
Coors Light doubled its market share in Scotland last year, making it one of the fastest growing beers in the country. Julie McGraw, Customer Marketing Manager for Molson Coors Brewing Company commented, “The Edinburgh International Film Festival is the perfect stage for our exceptional range of beers, and a great way for us to showcase their quality, taste and distinctive stories.”
She continued, “Our brands are currently enjoying some of the highest growth rates in Scotland and the time is right for us to really celebrate this and share a refreshing taste of our beers with the Festival’s Scottish and international guests.”
Dutch beer, Grosch (celebrating its 400th anniversary this year) and Scotland’s biggest craft beer, Blue Moon, will also be supporting the festival.

Fans of Jean Claude Van Damme, the star of Coors Light’s advertisements, will also be in for a treat as Molson Coors has said there will be some surprises in store involving the movie star.
