A first for Scotland

Aberdeen, and indeed Scotland, now has a chocolate themed bistro style restaurant which was launched last month by Aberdeen chocolatier Jamie Hutcheon. The new Aberdeen bistro is operating three days a week from Cocoa Ooze’s premises on Belmont Street, and offers a varied and fun menu, from a starter of hot smoked salmon, beetroot, white chocolate and horseradish to a main of duck, ginger orange chocolate sauce and Asian vegetables.
Says Jamie, “We want people to come in and try something they have not tried before. Cocoa Ooze is all about being daring and unique and the bistro exemplifies that perfectly. This step is hugely exciting for us as we have seen continued growth in the business, which I believe is down to the quality of service and quality of our product.”
