The Boutique Bar Show Scotland returns to Edinburgh on 26 October to celebrate and inspire the nation’s dynamic bar scene.
The event will bring together international speakers, boutique producers, guest bartenders and representatives from Scottish bars, restaurants, hotels and retailers at the Mansfield Traquair Edinburgh.
Aimed at industry professionals, from bartenders to bar owners, the show will promote new products, trends and techniques to improve customers’ drinking experience.
Guest speakers include Marian Beke of The Gibson Bar in London, who will discuss his use of pickled ingredients in cocktails, and Leonardo Leuci of exclusive Italian speakeasy, the Jerry Thomas Project, in Rome, who will delve into the world of Vermouth cocktails.
Digital media marketing specialists The Drink Cabinet will also run a presentation on how bars and drinks businesses can grow their social media marketing campaigns and reach new consumers.
The show’s founder Andrew Scutts said, “We offer a broad range of experiences in 2016. Business owners can drop into our new business lounge with the SLTA or participate in our recruitment and retention of talent and social media workshops whilst bartenders have two of the world’s finest flying in to share their experiences.”
New product launches include Nginious Smoked and Salted Gin from Switzerland, as well as local producers such as Makar Glasgow Gin, RB Distillers from the Borders and North East business Poetic License all involved. Boutique drinks agencies attending include Emporia Brands, Mangrove, Cellar Trends and Maverick Drinks.
The event runs from 11am-5pm. Registration and more details are available at www.boutiquebarshow.com
