Speyside whisky brand Glenfiddich has released a new global ad to promote the IPA Experiment, the first expression to be released from the Glenfiddich Experimental Series.

The Glenfiddich IPA Experiment claims to be the world’s first single malt whisky finished in India Pale Ale (IPA) casks.

Launched yesterday, the 60-second TV spot celebrates curiosity and creativity with snapshots of people doing activities like surfing, playing chess, meditating and rocking out on the drums. It also gives viewers a stylised look at the whisky-making process.

The ad was created by agency Space and directed by Ben Tricklebank. It will debut in the UK 8 November during Sky Atlantic’s Westworld and will air across Europe, Asia and the US over the next six months on TV, in cinemas and online.
