Greene King Pub Partners has launched a support package for licensees in its tenanted and leased pubs to help them drive sales of cask and keg ales.
Licensees will receive a toolkit to help them create the best possible cask ale range and beer quality training to guarantee a perfect serve. Brewery Ambassadors will also be on hand to discuss the latest range and offer a free cask and pricing review.
Greene King is also offering support and potential funding for pubs looking to run a beer festival, and will also help licensees obtain a Cask Marque award for their pub, an accreditation for those serving great quality cask ale.
Clive Chesser, Managing Director of Greene King Pub Partners, said, “We have put a huge variety of support into one place for our licensees wanting to bolster their sales of cask and keg ales within our pubs.
“The option of our licensees being able to contact one of our new Brewery Ambassadors and discuss this area in depth means a lot of the hard work is done for them.”
He added, “Creating the right cask ale range is essential to keep drinkers interested and we know customers want a choice of beer styles and strengths.
“We are also putting the emphasis on the importance of serving a good pint and outlining the positive impact this has on customer confidence and sales.”
