Tales of the Cocktail unveils Edinburgh events

The Tales of the Cocktail tour is coming to Edinburgh for four days of seminars, tastings and networking events across the city from 1-4 April, following events in Vancouver, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.

The event, which originates in New Orleans, is mostly aimed at spirits industry professionals and includes seminars presented by top cocktail experts, including former Edinburgh bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana.

The seminars will delve into the techniques, history and business of making drinks, and attendees will be able to choose six seminars (three per day) to attend during Tales of the Tour.

Event founder Ann Tuennerman (above middle) said, “I’m excited to announce our most extensive line-up of seminars for a Tales on Tour ever.

“We are proud to be curating seminars from some of the cocktail world’s most revered figures. Edinburgh won’t know what’s hit it!”

Cocktail-loving members of the public will also be welcome to join a series of nightly sessions throughout the Tales festival called ‘Dynamic Duos’. These will held in bars around the city including Bon Vivant, The Devil’s Advocate, Bramble, Hoot The Redeemer and Bryant & Mack.

The Dynamic Duos events will be hosted by brands such as Campari and The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS). The SMWS event will focus on flavour in single cask whisky and takes place at Kaleidoscope Bar on Saturday 1 April.
