Greene King Pub Partners has relaunched its first 100 days training programme to support new tenants, with licensees of two Scottish tenanted and leased pubs, Monteiths in Gourock and the Strathaven pub at Strathaven, signed up so far.
The programme is open to Scottish licensees and offers essential advice, guidance and information to help them navigate the potential pitfalls they could face during their opening months.
Licensees can enroll no matter their level of experience.
Three mystery visits are scheduled free of charge during the first 100 days of occupancy to assist licensees with understanding and developing their business, which forms part of three valuable review meetings with business development managers.
After the programme is completed, business development managers will continue to be on hand for future queries and will act as consultants for licensees.
Clive Chesser, Managing Director of Greene King Pub Partners, said, “Making a positive start is vital to an operator establishing themselves at a new pub and settling into a local community and we want to reassure them they are not facing these challenges alone.
“This renewed focus on our first 100 days programme is underpinned by our desire to be industry-leading in all of our training and it is essential that right from the outset we are offering support that matters to licensees.”
