Diageo launches DRINKiQ to inform consumers

DRINKiQ allows anyone to find out information on what they’re drinking

Diageo has launched a new online tool aimed at both consumers and the industry to provide consumers with information about the alcohol they are drinking.

DRINKiQ will use interactive learning and tests to give people information about alcohol content across various drinks, explanations about alcohol, calculation tips for intake and the truth about common myths around alcohol.

Carolyn Panzer, Director of Alcohol and Society, Diageo said: “There is clearly a desire for this kind of information, which is why we wanted to make DRINKiQ available more widely. This tool allows anyone, anywhere, to quickly get a handle on how drinking affects the body, and gives the tips they need to make the right choices for them.”

DRINKiQ is available in the UK, US and Australia, with localised versions rolling out to 20 other countries in the coming months.
