Historic Auchtermuchty pub on the market

The Forest Inn in Auchtermuchty is now on the market with offers invited for the three-storey property. Christie’s and Co in Edinburgh is handling the sale.

The 16th century village pub is close to some of the best golfing destinations in Scotland, including St Andrews and Gleneagles.

It is run by a husband and wife time, Margaret and Mike Maycock, who are soon due to retire.

The property has a public bar and lounge plus two function rooms, seven en-suite bedrooms and an owner’s flat.
