So far, the secret location of Glasgow’s only underground speakeasy, Wheesht, has been kept under wraps.
It’s the brainchild of bartenders Jamie Moran and Dave Ali and potential customers can find out about it on social media before making a booking before being taken to the secret location.
Dave told DRAM, “It’s a four-month pop-up and so far it’s going really well – and nobody has blown our cover yet. The interior is best described as intimate, modern, dark, dingy and candlelit.”
In the past both Jamie and Dave had worked at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Cafe, plus Dave also has experience of working in another speakeasy, Dublin’s The Blind Pig.
