Newcastle-based The Naked Deli, founded by Chris Jones, is to open its first outlet in Scotland by opening at Glasgow airport next month.
The company’s official Facebook page said, “The plan was never to go from Newcastle to Glasgow but this was an opportunity we couldn’t turn down and we really looking for forward to bringing Clean Healthy nutritious food to Scotland ✈️💚 .”
The Naked Deli launched in Newcastle in 2014 and has since expanded to five sites across the north east after securing £2.5m of backing from investment company Foresight Group in 2018.
