Wine training for just £1 on Quenchable app

Drinks entrepreneurs Nikki Welch and Blair Bowman have changed the format of their award winning wine training app, Quenchable, to make it available to everyone in the hospitality industry, for just £1 per user until the end of June, with 50% of profits going to The Drinks Trust.
Nikki Welch, co-founder of Quenchable comments, “We realised that offering access to training that feels valuable to the individual, is easily-accessed and creates a bit of healthy competition can help businesses connect to their furloughed teams.
She continues, “It is logistically difficult to train furloughed staff but businesses need to keep their teams engaged, inspired and knowledgeable, We have opened access up to individuals too, recognising that many furloughed hospitality professionals want to continue their development.”
Quenchable is a hospitality training app (iOS and android) to help upskill teams in
drinks service and offers a new and easy way for furloughed hospitality staff to
develop skills and build wine confidence during the lockdown. It breaks wine
knowledge, science, customer psychology and service types into fun, multi-media
‘drops’ so just 5 minutes a day increases user confidence and knowledge, and most
importantly gives them a thirst for more. It also features a unique wine searcher that allows users to select the main ingredient, cooking style and seasoning of a dish and get a wine recommendation.
Nikki Welch is the creator of the WineTubeMap, WhiskyTubeMap* and
BeerTubeMap**, author of the accompanying Pocket Guides to Wine, Whisky* and
Beer* and founder of Quenchable with Blair Bowman.
Features and benefits of Quenchable include:
● Full access to the app for only £1 until the end of June 2020 (normally £4+VAT per user per month)
● 50% of profits access codes sold during this promotion will go to The Drinks
Trust.
● Quenchable provides an app-based learning journey for the user with multi-
media daily ‘drop’s that are designed to be engaging for the user and
encourage their thirst for wine knowledge
● Engagement pack for businesses providing user data and a weekly
leaderboard and team challenge to increase engagement
● New content will be added to the app every month in order to offer continued
