To celebrate 10 years since William Grant & Sons bought Tullamore D.E.W. Irish whiskey, you have until July 5th to tell the drinks company what you think your ‘rising from the ashes’ moment will be and what you are most looking forward to once all of the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in order to win a limited edition bottle of The Phoenix Blend, launched in 2014 to celebrate the reopening of the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery. There are also 20 Claudine O’Sullivan prints of Tullamore D.E.W. Phoenix as runner-up prizes.

Said Global Brand Director, Chin Ru Foo, “We decided to focus our anniversary celebrations on the Phoenix as, under the current circumstances, it feels very apt. The phoenix represents new beginnings, rebirth and hope, sentiments that are very much sought after these days.”

Tullamore town, in the Republic of Ireland, experienced the world’s first ever recorded air disaster in 1785 when a hot air balloon crashed and destroyed the town. After the town was rebuilt, Tullamore used the phoenix as its coat of arms and a carved phoenix now sits at the entrance of the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery.
