First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said that there will be no changes to Scotland’s Covid-19 alert levels this week with 11 areas remaining in level four until 11 December. She also confirmed that restrictions will be lifted on areas in level four on that date and that next week’s review would be “more substantial”.
She confirmed that Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire would not move from level two to three following a rise in cases across NHS Grampian despite speculation that she would and that the government would continue to “look carefully” at those areas.
The first minister said that current measures were having a “positive impact” and that the country was “in a position where infections are declining”.
