Stirling Distillery, situated in the shadow of Stirling Castle, have launched their new limited edition Platinum Gin to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Distillery with its royal connection – James VI is said to have stabled his horses where the ‘Old Smiddy’ building sits – they wanted to pay homage to Her Majesty with a bottle of their nettle-based classic gin.
Designed by graphic designer Megan Raine and distillery co-founder June McCann, the bottle celebrates the Stirlingshire nettles that gives their gin the unique flavour of Stirlingshire’s countryside. Presented in a regal laurel wreath design with royal crowns hidden through the design, the distillery has crafted in game and social media awareness. Anyone who buys one of the 500 bottles can win tickets to a gin tasting at the distillery, but only if they find the crown locations and tag @Stirlingdistillery on social media.
Stirling Distillery is well known for celebrating the rich history and folklore of the famous Scottish city through their product range and their Gin Blue Line forget-me-not infused gin raises vital funds and awareness for police mental health charities.
