Glasgow gets ready for biggest cocktail week yet

The biggest Glasgow Cocktail Week festival starts today (Friday 23rd September) with a ten day programme that includes immersive events, elevated brunches and masterclasses with over 140 exclusive cocktails on offer.

By purchasing a wristband, festival goers get access to the exclusive menu’s as well as discounted cocktails in almost 50 venues across the city as well as maps and menus to help them plan their cocktail adventure.

And, to celebrate the launch, the festival has announced three new cocktail tours in partnership with BACARDÍ for guests to explore some of the city’s best bars including The Finnieston, Radisson Red, Spiritualist, Jack’s Bar at Dakota and rooftop bar VEGA.

The Merchant City / East tour features a raft of new venues including Wunderbar, Kong, NQ64, Ralph & Finns and The Gate where fans will find exclusive cocktails on the menu including Cocktail Cantina at Saint Luke’s, offering tequila and tacos from a seriously cool and brightly coloured Cantina.

In the West, bars taking part include The Locale, Moxy hotel, El Jefe’s, Glasgow Cocktail Club and Oran Mor while, in the City Centre, Dakota, Blue Dog, Gaucho, Nico’s,  VEGA and Platform are all taking part.

Festival partners include Bombay Sapphire gin, PATRÓN tequila, BACARDÍ, Dewar’s whisky, Grey Goose vodka and St. Germain.
