Following the success of last year’s SmartDispense® Energy Well Spent Summit and Debate Series, the draught dispense technology system from HEINEKEN UK is hitting the road for the launch of SmartDispense® Energy Well Spent: On Location.
Visiting five venues across the UK, Energy Well Spent: On Location is a series of networking events featuring industry leaders and subject matter experts, independent operators and larger groups and it will be in Edinburgh on 20 June.
The free events tackle some of the biggest issues currently facing the hospitality industry, with panel discussions including staff recruitment, retention and wellbeing, managing energy usage and costs, reducing your carbon footprint and using technology to simplify business operations.
The panel discussions will revolve around collaboration, with independent local venues to larger national groups, offering insights into their own operations, and sharing the steps they have taken, plus some learnings, along the way.
Richard Stephens, Head of SmartDispense® and Technical Services at HEINEKEN UK said, “The success of last year’s Energy Well Spent activities showed us that there is a clear need for more conversation. We know that operating more sustainably can often come hand-in-hand with reduced costs, which is understandably at the forefront of every publican’s mind right now.
“These events have been designed to meet operators wherever they are in their sustainability journey. There is no one-size-fits-all solution but we hope that, by encouraging discussion, our events can inspire operators to find new ways to optimise their businesses, make them more sustainable and benefit from cost and operational efficiencies.”
The events will run from 11:00 to 15:00. Operators can register their interest for free via the SmartDispense® website.
