The family team behind Timberyard, which collected its first Michelin Star earlier this year, are set to open a new wine bar in Edinburgh later this year
Montrose House, on the site of the Abbey cafe which closed in May last year, will cover 2 floors with the ground floor hosting a wine bar with a menu of european-inspired small-plates, and on the second floor it will have a dining room with around 15 covers with a “simple menu” with “ingredient-driven dishes”.
Both venues will be offering a selection of the best wines from producers around europe and be capsule free.
It will be led by the Radford family in partnership with Timberyard head chef Jamie Murray, who will also oversee the menu’s.
