Innis & Gunn has announced the promotions of three of its key team members with Steve Drew appointed as Managing Director of Retail; Mhairi Furneaux, Operations and Training Manager and Dave Lambourne promoted from Senior Head Chef to Area Chef under the IGHG (Innis & Gunn Hospitality Group) business.
Latterly Director of Retail Operations, Steve Drew has been with Innis & Gunn for over five years running the ever-popular Innis & Gunn Brewery Taprooms. In his new role as Managing Director of Retail, he is responsible for the ongoing development of the Taproom concept and its teams alongside growing Innis & Gunn’s event business which features its ongoing partnerships with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, The Royal Highland Show and Neighbourgood market in Stockbridge.
Mhairi Furneaux moves from the position of Cluster Manager to Operations and Training Manager overseeing a team of over 90 employees. A hospitality industry stalwart, Mhairi has over 15 years’ experience in the sector working with major leisure operators across the central belt of Scotland. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Taprooms, Mhairi is also supporting on compliance, training and standards.
Dave Lambourne joined Innis & Gunn in June of 2019 in the position of Head Chef, progressing to Senior Head Chef. His promotion sees him take on the role of Area Chef for the Taproom business with more of an operational role with responsibility for driving consistency, innovation and value in the food offer. Prior to joining Innis & Gunn nearly six years ago, Dave worked for one of the UK’s leading privately-owned restaurant groups specialising in upmarket Italian and Grill restaurants.
