Liquid Oats, the vegan friendly liqueur brand made in Glasgow by Dark Art Drinks, the team behind The Bevy Store, Vodka Wodka, and The Cocktail Collective,  have launched limited edition Candied Raspberry, the first flavour release since the brand launch in 2021.

Fraser McIlwraith, founder of Liquid Oats said that Liquid Oats Candied Raspberry is an “…innovative product that combines the best of Scotland’s whisky culture with a bit of fun – while still catering for the rising demand for vegan alternatives. We believe it will be a game changer in the world of cream liqueurs as it tastes so good and is still dairy free.”

The Candied Raspberry edition is marriage of tradition and innovation, blending Speyside Scotch whisky, creamy condensed oat milk, and complimented by sweet, candied raspberries, all coming together to mimic a cranachan dessert.

Harry Savory, Head of Production, said, “After the successful launch of our Sweet Vanilla flavour a few years ago, we were excited at the prospect of adding a unique new product to the Liquid Oats family.

“It’s no great secret whisky and raspberries work incredibly well together on a menu, so deciding which flavour to progress towards was a fairly natural and easy decision.

“The whisky industry is an exciting space to operate in, with brands looking to expand the horizons of consumers by mixing the traditional with the new, which is where we feel Liquid Oats fits in nicely.

“Expertly mixed and with a flavour profile that is fruity and electric, we wanted to create a whisky liqueur that brought even more consumers to the category and maybe even converted some non-whisky drinkers too.”

Liquid Oats Sweet Vanilla is now served across Scotland in over 30 venues including two of Scotland’s most highly respected hospitality groups, The Scotsman Group and Buzzworks Holdings. A surge in popularity came after Liquid Oats Sweet Vanilla was said to have been sampled on St Andrews Day in 2022 on BBC’s This Morning and the brand say that their commitment to sustainability and inclusivity is a huge driving factor of the brands success, along with their choice to use premium Scotch whisky.
