RIO Brazilian Steakhouse comes to Edinburgh


Brazilian Steakhouse brand RIO is venturing north for the first time, announcing it will open its first venue in Scotland in the new year in the heart of Edinburgh at the Assembly Rooms on George Street.

The expansion comes following Rio’s success in England, marking the 8th location since the brand was established. Founded in Jesmond in November 2019, the Edinburgh site adds to its current locations in Jesmond, Newcastle’s Quayside, Middlesbrough, Durham City Centre, Warrington, Chester and York.

Based on It’s bringing its non-stop meats concept, unlimited gourmet salad bar and Brazilian Churrasco dining experience, the 150-cover restaurant also features a set price concept.
