After an extensive refurb that began last summer, with new decoration, lights, a new dance floor and booths, as well as dealing with severe water damage, Bakers Nite Club in Kilmarnock opened its doors in December in time for the festive season.

Bakers, one of Ayrshires best known night clubs, closed it doors during the pandemic, and, after 3 years it has re-opened to sell-out nights.

As well as its famous DJ booth, the club, as they say themselves, “…weren’t all about the club”, adding,  “Some amazing bands passed through our doors, The View, Gerry Cinnamon, Alabama 3 and Killie’s very own favourite sons Fatherson.” In fact, the club opened on 15th December with a sell-out for their special DJ set from The View following their headline show in the town the previous night.

As well as some of the old, the club are also planning new events saying on social media, “We have been working tirelessly in the background on bringing some new and exciting things to Killie. You’re going to enjoy these.”
