The Inverness Best Bar None Awards, organised by Don Lawson, owner of Johnny Foxes and chairman of Inverness Pub Watch in conjunction with Inverness BID, took place earlier this week.
The awards are based on the standards of Best Bar None which include standards of service, hospitality and customer care and meeting and exceeding the licensing objectives. The venues which met the standards in all of the key criteria picked up Bronze accreditation, with Silver and Gold accreditations given to venues which went above and beyond to achieve all five of the objectives.
24 Inverness venues picked up awards with three special awards also presented. These were the Best Newcomer, won by Blackfriars, the Heart of the Community award which was won by The Chieftain, and Highlands picked up the award for Innovation and Social Responsibility.
