Edinburgh’s Herringbone Goldenacre Bar and Restaurant which closed for are refurbishment at the start of the year has reopened with new décor, a new menu and more seats.

The Buzzworks Holdings venue on South Trinity Road has added a semi-private dining area for larger parties, new tiled flooring, new décor, new furnishings and it now includes a new hidden, wide screen TV at the bar for sports fans. The new menu introduces smaller, sharing plates in addition to the classic Herringbone favourites.

Ash Bairstow, operations director of Herringbone Goldenacre, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome back our beloved guests to South Trinity Road, showcasing our fantastic new bar and restaurant and updated menu.

“We’ve invested a considerable amount in refurbishing the space, adding a layer of comfort throughout while still remaining true to our laid-back, contemporary Herringbone style.

“Not only have we introduced a range of new features for our guests to enjoy, but we’ve also redesigned the flow of some of the venue to make it feel noticeably bigger and, as a result, increased our capacity by 16 seats.”

As well as investing in the restaurant and bar space, work has also been completed in the kitchen area to improve the extraction system for the team and upgrade refrigeration to accommodate the venue’s new menu offering.
