Glasgow’s largest cocktail festival, Glasgow Cocktail Week, is returning for 10 days in April – from Friday 19th until Sunday 28th of the month – and it brings with it a new tourism partnership with the city’s Regional Food Group. Experience Glasgow Food & Drink is also on menu as it develops the first ever Glasgow Cocktail Trail digital map, trail and website featuring over 20 of the city’s best bars.
Along with the new interactive format organisers have announced a new secret hub bar, events space, and bottle shop in a city-wide cocktail takeover which will include a mix of events and introduce new venues.
The new format includes a choice of masterclass, complete with a cocktail included as part of this year’s ticket price, delivered at the secret central hub.
The Bars creating exclusive drinks for wristband holders include Anchor Line, The Gate, VEGA, and Malo with a full list of participating bars, events, masterclasses and secret takeovers to be announced next month.
Glasgow Cocktail Week organiser, Nicola Moir said, “This year, we’re shaking things up with a fresh format for Glasgow Cocktail Week that promises to deliver a bigger and unforgettable experience for all our cocktail fans and friends of the festival.
“We can’t wait to announce all our grand plans and the secret location of our brand new hub bar and events space.
“As always we’re committed to putting Glasgow’s best bartenders on the cocktail map, and we’ll be announcing all the amazing participating venues and crafted cocktails very soon. Watch this space, and don’t miss out on our early bird tickets available now!”
