Vittoria On The Walk in Leith has had a make-over and moved to the Brunswick Street corner but it’s not a new location – it was the venue opened in the 1970’s by Alberto Crolla, and as grandson Leandro Crolla says of Nonno, “we need to make him proud.” The menu is staying the same and, say the group, the biggest change is that entrance will now be on the opposite corner on Brunswick Road. It is expected to re-open in mid-April.
Tony Crolla said, “The next chapter for us in the new era for Leith walk, everything changes but our values remain the same, a brand new Vittoria’s and an All day Cafe Bar next door.“
Leandro Crolla said, “We are refurbishing our first venue Vittoria On The Walk on Brunswick Street aiming to open a Leith local, serving great and local beers, cocktails, breakfast and amazing comfort food.
“Vittoria On The Walk is NOT going, it instead will be re-located on the Brunswick Road corner (10 second walk) and will have a brand new refreshing look.”
Since Vittoria on the Walk was first opened by Nonno Alberto in Leith more than 50 years ago, three generations of the family have expanded the Vittoria group across Edinburgh. From the 90s and onwards his son Tony and wife Angela established various awards winning restaurants, and now the group is run by sons Alberto and Leandro.
