Isle of Arran Distillers have been awarded several Gold and Silver Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition – one of the largest blind judging events in the world.
Arran Single Malt were awarded three Double Golds – the best result they have ever had in the competition – and LAGG Single Malt Kilmory Edition picked up their first Gold.
Managing Director of Isle of Arran Distillers, Euan Mitchell said, “We could not be prouder of these tremendous medal wins for both Arran Single Malt and LAGG Single Malt. To have received three Double Gold medals with such high scoring points at the blind tasting for Arran is a wonderful achievement for Arran as we approach our 30th anniversary in 2025.
“It’s also particularly exciting for us as a team to see our heavily peated LAGG Single Malt’s core range Kilmory Edition win its first ever Gold medal. Amazing recognition this early on in our journey with LAGG as the quality speaks for itself and promises an exciting future full of surprises and intriguing drams that you’re going to want to taste. Arran continues to solidify its reputation as a producer of unbeatable quality Single Malt.”
Isle of Arran Distillers, with two distilleries based on the Isle of Arran, are also finalists in the Single Malt Scotch category ‘Best in Class’. The shortlist for this will be announced from 24th June and winners will be announced at the Gala Event in San Francisco in early October this year.
