Duck & Waffle Edinburgh has unveiled its festive transformation, turning its St James Quarter venue into a Narnia-inspired winter wonderland.
Drawing on imagery from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the restaurant invites visitors to step through a recreated wardrobe and into a scene that brings C.S. Lewis’s story to life. At the entrance, snow-covered trees and woodland creatures set the tone, land inside, the iconic Narnian lamppost stands besdie snow-dusted trees, with frosted garlands and branches.
Duck & Waffle Edinburgh General Manager, Alex Winter said, “This year, we’ve transformed Duck & Waffle Edinburgh for the season and invite guests to join us for our enchanted Narnia-themed festivities, which include a restaurant makeover and a vintage wardrobe scene complete with cosy winter throws, snow and icicles. A forest area and other Narnia references from the fairytale novel are throughout the bar and restaurant for guests to discover during their visit”.
The venue is also teaming up with Brugal to offer a limited-edition menu of festive cocktails inspired by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Highlights include Winter’s Embrace with Brugal 1888 rum, pumpkin spice, and whipped cream; Aslan’s Roar, featuring espresso and hazelnut syrup; and Witch’s Jewel, a mix of rum, Campari, and pomegranate molasses.
