Robert Graham 1874 submits plans for new shop, bar and outdoor experience

Luxury whisky and cigar specialists, Robert Graham 1874, has submitted a planning application for a new premium whisky experience in Edinburgh, doubling the size of the premises on Rose Street.

The proposed new shop, bar and outdoor experience will combine the sale of 12 branded whiskies and premium cigars while the on-trade offering will include an extensive range of spirits, wine, Scottish whisky and light food . All-in-all the company say it will provide “an immersive retail environment that goes far beyond traditional shopping.”

Stephen Johnston, Owner and MD of Robert Graham 1874, said, “Our new retail concept is set to transform traditional retail into a premium destination experience by extending our existing premises to cater for both locals and tourists alike. We’re excited to bring a new chapter to our heritage on Rose Street.

“Our planning application reflects our vision for creating an exclusive environment where whisky and cigar enthusiasts can immerse themselves in a truly unique experience. This is more than just a store – it’s a destination where quality, tradition, and innovation meet.”

With operations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cambridge, and online, Robert Graham 1874 currently holds 36 casks in bond, and is planning to announce new expressions that continue to “push the boundaries of quality and innovation”.
