The Signature Food Festival has secured CLR Sales and Service as a sponsor for their evening with Michelin-Starred Chef Aktar Islam at the Chester Hotel in Autumn.

The charity festival, which is run by The JEllie Foundation with all proceeds distributed to local charities across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire supporting children and their families, has already raised more than £1.5 million for causes such as The Archie Foundation, SensationALL and Charlie House.

As one of Scotland’s leading independent catering, laundry and refrigeration service, repair and installation companies, CLR’s Managing Director, Matthew McKenzie, said, “Supporting events like the Signature Food Festival is a natural fit for CLR. We work alongside chefs and restaurateurs every day, ensuring their kitchens are serviced and equipped to the highest standards. Bringing world-class culinary talent to Aberdeen not only benefits the industry but also supports vital local charities. It’s an investment in both the future of Scottish hospitality and the wider community.”

Matthew continues, “We understand that a strong hospitality sector is vital for economic growth and job creation in the region, and that investment in infrastructure, talent, and industry collaboration is essential.”

By backing high-profile industry events, CLR says that this allows it to contribute to Aberdeen’s reputation “as a destination capable of attracting renowned chefs and culinary excellence.”
