Buzzworks has announced that their new bar and restaurant in Barnton will open on May 16. Herringbone Barnton, the fourth Herringbone site to be opened by Buzzworks, adds to sister neighbourhood locals in Goldenacre, Abbeyhill and North Berwick.

The independent operator says that the site on Whitehouse Road is almost ready to open, with external signage in place and the internal fit-out, furnishings, and styling well underway with team training in full progress.

General Manager and Barnton local, Chris Robinson, said “We’re super excited to finally be opening the doors to our new Herringbone venue and to showcase to the public our warm and welcoming space.

“The finishing touches are going in and the venue is looking fantastic. Our team is also in training, and we’re getting ready to welcome our first guests for what we know will be something really special for the area.

“Whether it’s brunch after the school run, drinks with friends, or date night dinner – Herringbone Barnton is a place for everyone, and we can’t wait for locals to see it.”

The food menu, which is prepared fresh daily, focuses on daytime favourites with evening plates including crowd-pleasing gourmet burgers and, for the first time at a Herringbone venue, the team is offering handmade, sourdough pizzas.

Guests will also be able to enjoy over 30 wines by the glass, seasonal cocktails, and local craft beer in a central bar which features large windows to create a bright, welcoming atmosphere.

The new venue joins Buzzworks other brands across Scotland including Scotts, Lido, House, Vic’s & The Vine, The Duke, Thirty Knots, The Bridge Inn, and The Fox.
