One of Scotland’s leading craft beer festivals, Gravity, has confirmed its 2025 dates, with the event set to return to Edinburgh’s Summerhall on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September 2025.
Now in its third year, the festival will once again take place in the Dissection Room at Summerhall, where it will showcase 14 of the UK’s top independent breweries and a cider maker. Visitors can expect a line-up of specialist brews, including festival-only pours and experimental releases.
Launched in 2023 and held annually on the Summerhall site, Gravity Beer Festival was founded by the team behind Barney’s Beer, who are based at the on-site Summerhall Brewery. The brewery dates back to 1705 and remains a key part of the former veterinary school complex.
The 2025 event marks a deepening collaboration between Gravity and Summerhall Arts, a recently formed initiative designed to support independent arts and creative industries at Summerhall. The festival forms part of this wider commitment to promoting craftsmanship and artistic expression in all its forms.
