A new Irish-American bar and live music venue is preparing to open in Glasgow city centre this weekend. RADIO, on Renfield Street, will officially launch this Friday (21 November), with a focus on live entertainment, sport and New York-style pizza served by the slice.

The venue is the latest project from hospitality duo Stevie McColm and Adam Coakley, and will open seven days a week from 12 noon until 3am. Spread over multiple floors, RADIO promises a blend of daytime sport screenings and late-night music.

“This is more than just a bar — RADIO is built for live music lovers, sports fans, and late-night crowds alike,” said co-owners Stevie McColm and Adam Coakley. “We wanted to create a space that feels alive all day — where you can watch the game with a pint at noon, catch a live act in the evening, and still be dancing long after midnight.”

As well as screening major football and rugby matches across multiple screens, the venue will serve Guinness and Murphy’s on draught, cocktails and pizza. A mix of live music, DJs and acoustic sets is planned throughout the week.
