Campari Group has unveiled a new bottle design for Aperol, with the updated look rolling out this month across both the on-trade and off-trade.
The new bottle features rippled glass at the shoulder, a slimmer shape and a smaller front label, placing more focus on Aperol’s orange liquid. A transparent back label has also been added with serving guidance for the Aperol Spritz. The embossed monogram of the Barbieri brothers, who created Aperol in 1919, now appears on each bottle as part of the redesign.
Andrea Neri, Managing Director House of Aperitifs, said, “This new bottle is a celebration of what has always defined Aperol. It reflects our Italian roots while bringing a more contemporary expression to an icon enjoyed around the world. Every detail has been carefully considered to enhance the Aperol experience and reaffirm the brand’s place at the heart of modern Aperitivo culture.”
The redesign is part of a wider packaging update across Campari Group’s portfolio, with new designs also set to roll out across Campari, Courvoisier, Wild Turkey and Espolon.
