Michele Pagliocca has closed Singl-end the Glasgow bar and restaurant he opened with son Gianni last year. Owner Michele Pagliocca told DRAM, “We decided to close it for six weeks. My son was running it very successfully and it was getting great reviews, but it just burnt him out. There was a party interested in taking over the lease, but they’ve decided not to. We haven’t decided what we’re going to do with it but we have several people interested in renting it, but failing that we’ll reopen it again in January as a pub/bistro in the same style as the Butterfly and the Pig.”
