Cornhill Castle bought by Manorview

Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group revealed it had bought Cornhill House, in Biggar last month, and immediately renamed it Cornhill Castle.  The hotel, was purchased off market, from owners John and Mae Fraioli, who had owned the hotel for more than 20 years. It is located just outside Biggar and is set in ten acres of countryside with views over the upper banks of the River Clyde. It has nine bedrooms as well as a Ballroom Suite, a large conservatory, and a wedding pavilion, plus a bistro, restaurant, several lounges and a helicopter pad. There is also planning permission in situ for three lodges.
The hotel now becomes part of the Manorview portfolio which includes the newly opened Boclair House Hotel, the Busby Hotel in Clarkston, The Bowfield Hotel & Country Club, Howwood, The Lynnhurst Hotel, Johnstone, The Torrance Hotel, East Kilbride, The Redhurst Hotel, Giffnock and The Commercial Hotel, Wishaw.
