The Stockbridge Tap on Edinburgh’s Raeburn Place, which closed last month, has reopened following a refurbishment.
Along with a refreshed exterior, including new colours, signage and a revamped terrace offering more alfresco seating, the redesigned interior puts the solid oak bar as the focal point of the pub.
New General Manager Eilish said, “The Stockbridge Tap has always been more than just a pub. Our goal wasn’t to change what people love about The Tap, but to ensure the environment is as high quality as the beer we pour. We have polished the gem, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back through the doors.”
The bar, a CAMRA Edinburgh & South East Scotland Pub of the Year in 2025, will continue to focus on an ever-changing selection of independent craft beers and real ales, including breweries such as Stewart Brewing, Swannay and Arbor Ales. The new drinks offer also includes local and world beers and a redesigned wine list.
Food is also returning, with a small bar food menu.
The team said, “We’ve missed the clink of glasses and the buzz of a busy evening, and we can’t wait to share this refreshed space with the community that make this pub what it is.”
