Following on from the success of their Rhubarb & Heather Gin Liqueur, Isle of Barra Distillers have added to the portfolio with the launch of their new Strawberry & Ginger Gin Liqueur.
Made on the UK’s most Westerly facing island, Isle of Barra, the newest liqueur uses hand-picked, local Scottish strawberries. It balances “the natural sweetness of the strawberries and the subtle spice of the ginger promises to excite both the nose and palate, creating a mouth-wateringly delicious experience for every sip”.
Founded by husband-and-wife duo, Michael and Katie Morrison, the inaugural gin, Barra Atlantic Gin was launched in 2017. Their mission is to establish a sustainable business platform to not only create premium, small batch gin and whisky, but also to create jobs and reinvigorate life on the island.
