ScotHot, Scotland’s leading showcase for food, drink, hospitality, retail, and tourism, has announced its finalists for the Innovation Awards 2023.

A four-year hiatus and momentous changes in the industry have allowed for an influx of new products to the market since the show’s last Innovation Awards in 2019. This year’s awards present an opportunity to recognise these incredible new products and celebrate those who produce them at the showcase.

Exhibitors had the chance to enter their most innovative products within either the Food and Drink or Equipment, Design and Technology categories. These entrants will be judged by an independent panel of experts. Judges are looking for all-around excellence and products that demonstrate true innovation in response to new industry challenges.

As many of these new products will be on the floor at ScotHot this year, guests will have a chance to judge them for themselves – with the opportunity to vote for their favourite in each category through the new ScotHot event app.

Toby Wand, Managing Director of the 365 Events team behind ScotHot23, said, “The Innovation Awards are a fantastic way for us at ScotHot to recognise and celebrate some incredible products that have been launched in the last four years. It’s been a great experience so far and our expert judges have managed to narrow down some finalists from a long list of very strong competition.”
