Popular Glasgow restaurant, Ian Brown Food and Drink, goes on the market

The Restaurant Agency have announced that they been instructed to market the Ian Brown Food and Drink restaurant in Glasgow.

Husband and wife team, Ian and Sheila Brown established the neighbourhood restaurant over 12 years ago following on from Ian’s successful career as a chef, 21 years of which were at the Ubiquitous Chip.

They took over the premises in Giffnock and have built a sizeable reputation over the years, appearing in Peter Irvine’s Scotland the Best Guide as “the best meal in the southside (Glasgow)” and racking up over 500 reviews on tripadvisior.

The business is now on the market at of Offers over £75,000 for the leasehold interest and the current lease runs to 2041 with a passing rent of £22,500 per annum.
